ABOUT THE SEMINAR:
Our Annual K9 Bomb Detection & Drug Detection Seminar takes place for 4 days every November with certification on the 4th day.
Boost and hone your K9 handling skills; learn from revered K9 experts. Space is limited, so we recommend registering no later than October each year! Our K9 handler training seminar takes place in Florida and includes classroom and field exercises each day. After classroom instruction there’s field training which utilizes: storage units, warehouses, vehicles, boats, an airport, and a hotel.
The Drug and Bomb Seminar is designed to enhance a K9 Handler’s abilities:
- Proper handling of K9
- Hands on training detection work
- Basic skills needed in the areas of problem solving
- Record keeping
- K9 First Aid
- Case law
- Court presentation
- Search patterns
- Practical scenarios
Certification is with the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association.
Non law enforcement attendees can be certified by the American Detection Canine Association (ADCA).
